The inaugural Cazenovia Fat Bike Race on Sunday, February 8, 2015 will follow a multi-lap format, utilizing groomed trails on the Lorenzo State Historic Site and the future home of Farmstead Brewery in Cazenovia, NY. Fat Bike riders will compete to log the most laps in 45 or 90 minutes on a closed course that will take them on a loop consisting of double track, single track and weather permitting, lots of snow! Post-race awards will be held after the race. Food and drink provided by Empire Brewing Company.
This year’s rider cap will be 75 riders. We will be offering an online registration fee of $35 up until February 6. In person registration only at Syracuse Bicycle on Saturday, February 7th for $45 (cash). No day-of registration. Don’t wait to get in on the action! A “Fat Bike” will be considered as any bike that has two or more tires that are at least 3.7″ wide. Bikes with either tire narrower than 3.7″ will not be allowed.
