At the end of January I got back on my bike and raced. I was still in pain from the previous weekend's race, but pain goes away and pride is forever.  We were racing to raise money for Clear Path a non-profit organization that helps our veterans. We raced right on their property. The view was stunning! Just beautiful! I'm use to racing my fat bike on well groomed trails that are like white pavement which was not the case a few weeks ago. The course was sloppy and I crashed hard at the beginning of the race which lead to an emergency room visit after the race. The doctor was really impressed I finished the race.
