The Stickboy Coffee race team par took in the 2021 Stonewall snowshoe race on January 24. The Stonewall is consistently one of the biggest snowshoe events in the USA and the 10,000 acres of Winona Forest makes for the perfect venue. The "Stonewall" features a variety of trail types, from groomed packed trail, to single track, hills both steep and gentle. Particpaints were allowed to choose from a 5K citizen's distance that accommodates all ability levels, and is family friendly or choose the relentless 10K which actually ended up being a bit longer.
With temperatures below zero on the day of the race, the Stickboy Coffee race team still ventured out to partake in the race. Justin took on the 5k and took 3rd place. The rest of the team ran the 10k. Shaun took 6th place overall while Mr. Lewis took 9th place overall and 8th place in the men's category. Uncle Pat took 29th place overall and 19th place in the men's category and I took 26th place overall and 16th place in the men's category.
Congratulations to everyone on the Stickboy Coffee team!
