The Grizzly Bears Need Our Help

The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service recently announced its plans to remove Endangered Species Act protections from the Yellowstone grizzly bear which places them in grave danger of being hunted. Under the ESA’s umbrella, the status of grizzly bears has slowly, but gradually improved since 1973.

Due to climate change, America’s great bears face the same looming threats that many species across the country are facing. In the last 10 years or so, climate change has decimated the Yellowstone grizzly’s most important food, the white bark pine nut. These bears need the continued protection of the Endangered Species Act.

We need 80,402 signatures by September 22, 2016 to get a response from the White House. Please consider taking action and signing the petition. https://petitions.whitehouse.gov/petition/save-yellowstone-grizzly

The American people would never permit hunting of America’s bald eagle; so therefore hunting Yellowstone grizzly bears is equally unacceptable. Let your voice be heard!

Thank you everyone!!!
