The Grizzly Bears Are Save

Our Voice Was Heard

One June 7, 2018, I wrote to you about the grizzly bears needing our help because the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service had announced its plans to remove the Endangered Species Act protections and I urged all of you to consider signing a petition.

I am so excited to share this news with you! The Yellowstone-area grizzly bears were scheduled to be hunted this month for the first time in decades, but were granted a reprieve by a federal judge who ordered the grizzly bears to be restored to full protections under the Endangered Species Act.

Under the endangered species protection, the state of the grizzly bear has improved but it has taken forty years of endangered species protection to increase the population by roughly 500 bears. It is estimated that there are about 700 now in the Yellowstone region.

As many of you know I never wanted to be a businessperson, but now that I am, I am determined to use my company and my voice to help solve the world’s great environmental challenges.

Thank you to everyone that let their voice be heard. We all can change the world for the better!
