Stickboy Coffee Race Team Report – The Weekend of February 8th

Stickboy Coffee Race Team Captain Justin Frontuto traveled to Saratoga to partake in the Saratoga Fat Bike Rally. This event takes place at the Saratoga State Park and was founded with two principles in mind: building a community of fat bikers and supporting the communities we live in. Congratulations Justin as he went on to take second place!

I traveled to Winona Forest for the Tourathon in Mannsville, New York. This was the 40th year they have been putting on the race. It’s a fundraiser for Winona Forest Recreation Association a non-profit organization that grooms and maintains the trails in Winona Forest. I volunteered my time and poured some Stickboy Coffee's famous Brazilian Coffee to keep skiers and volunteers warm as it was about 8 degree for the race. The Tourathon once again delighted Nordic skiers from across the USA and beyond. The lake effect snow machine came in with about a foot of fresh snow before the race and with the professional grooming equipment; WFRA was able to provide participants with unrivaled Nordic conditions. Participants had the option of partaking in a 12k, 25k or 50k race.

Stickboy Coffee Race Team Member Uncle Pat took on the 50k course and he did awesome! Uncle Pat finished in the top 10 taking 5th place overall. He finished the race in 4 hours and 1 minute which was 29 minutes faster than his goal. Congrats to Uncle Pat!

Congratulations to Justin and Uncle Pat on another great weekend of racing! We are very proud of you!
