It’s Christmas Eve and the weather is AWESOME!! It's 67 degrees in Syracuse, New York! This NEVER happens. I get out my road bike.
I ride for 1 hour and 59 minutes. I put it away.
The little kid in me comes out. I get it back out.
I ride it again for 2 hours and 37 minutes.
I look to my watch. I have a family dinner tonight. BUT I still have time to run.
47 minute run. Quick I got to get ready for dinner but man do I have smile on my face!!!
I even have a beautiful run Monday! The weather was perfect!
Shoe comes untied. Crap. Hate that. I look at my watch. 6 miles down. 3 to go.
I remember I have about a million emails and phone calls to return. They can wait I tell myself.
I finish out the last 3 miles to complete the 9 miles. I jump on the bike for a 2 hour and 12 minute ride.
At least for a while this holiday season, leave the malls behind. Your mind and soul will thank you.
