Stickboy Coffee was a proud sponsor of the Deer Fly 5k in the beautiful Winona Forest! Winona Forest, located on the boundary of southern Jefferson County and northern Oswego County in northern New York, is a 9,233-acre state forest that offers many recreational opportunities, including: snowmobiling, snowshoeing, hiking, cross-country skiing, mountain biking, running, dog sledding, bird watching and horseback riding!
The weather was perfect for the event. We couldn’t have asked for better weather. The trails were in great shape and the single track was just awesome! We had a great time spreading the word to nearly 70 participants about the Stickboy Coffee mission of helping non-profit organizations raise money, our commitment to Made in the USA products and the fact that we understand that the environment does not have a voice to speak for itself, therefore it is considered first in every business decision that we make. The top three men and top three women were awarded with our "Time to Run" coffee along with some baked goods! This is an annual 5k event - be sure to sign up with friends next year.
